De Gea wanted by PSG

Earlier today, we revealed United are finally willing to sell the Spanish stopper, 28, for a whopping £75million fee. While Juve were thought to be leading the race, PSG have now swooped in and intend to make De Gea the highest-paid goalkeeper in the world.

De Gea is showing no signs of agreeing a new deal at Old Trafford, meaning United are more than likely to trigger a one-year option on his contract.

That will extend it until the summer of 2020, with club bosses now set to cash in on their prized asset while they still can.

The only issue now faced will be De Gea's new home, with PSG still batting Financial Fair Play issues. The French giants are tipped to be willing to part with £300,000-a-week to tempt the Spaniard to Paris.

But it's expected they would need to sell at least one of Neymar or Kylian Mbappe to find the money without breaching any more regulations.

Neymar is expected to be the man to leave - with Real Madrid circling - as PSG realise their future revolves purely around Mbappe.

Meanwhile, in Italy, Juventus are thought to be set to stump up an incredible wad of cash next summer in a bid to undertake an ambitious squad overhaul.
