Jose Mourinho tells Anthony Martial he will start against juventus

Martial will look to continue his fine form against Juventus
Anthony Martial’s impressive recent form is set to be rewarded with a start against Italian giants Juventus in the Champions League.

The Frenchman has grabbed three goals in his last two games, including a brace in the 2-2 draw against Chelsea on Saturday.
And, according to RMC Radio, Jose Mourinho has put his faith in the French winger ahead of the showdown with Juve on Tuesday night.

United are without forwards Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard through injury, as Martial looks to seize his opportunity on the big stage at Old Trafford.

Martial’s future at the club had looked bleak after Mourinho criticised him for leaving the pre-season tour of America to witness the birth of his child.
The 22-year-old has struggled establish himself as a regular starter under Mourinho, but the pair’s relationship appears healthier now, with smiles and hugs exchanged at Stamford Bridge following Martial’s stunning performance.

The £50m signing recently claimed there was never an issue between himself and Mourinho.

“Come on, things were not tense between us to begin with,” Martial said.

“We have a player-coach relationship and I hope that we will continue like that and bring Manchester United as much as possible.”
Martial bagged a brace against Chelsea
Mourinho praised his attacking players for their second-half display against Chelsea, with Martial the star.

“The team played very well. Individually in the second half our attacking players raised the bar,” said the Red Devils’ boss.

“I’m really, really, really pleased with the individuals and the team. I’m not annoyed with anything.”
