The Argentine striker has been linked with Los Blancos for the entire year due to his impressive goalscoring skills.

We all know that Real Madrid's crisis has made some experts think about a massive amount of changes to steer the team back to safety. One of those changes would include a top-caliber striker to replace Karim Benzema, but unfortunately for Los Blancos, one of their main transfer targets has ruled out a move to the Spanish capital.

Speaking ahead of the match between Barcelona and "his" Inter Milan, Argentine striker and captain Mauro Icardi spoke about the constant talk linking him with Los Blancos. The player admitted being flattered by the team's interest, but a move away from Milan is not in the cards for him right now.

"I don't know if all that was published is true. I'll say it again: I'm pretty happy playing for Inter, and so is my family. We had some offers during the summer, but I have neither the intention nor the desire to leave this club," Icardi stated.

The Argentine striker has been in excellent form since he joined the nerazzurri, constantly fighting to become Serie A's top scorer. Nevertheless, attempts to lure him away to the Spanish capita will not deter him from his current goal: making Inter great again.

"There will always be transfer talk. Right now, I'm pretty calm and focused on what we're doing as a team here. I have the honor of being the captain of this club, we are here to play a UEFA Champions League game and any offers that get to my agent's desk will not have an effect on me," Icardi added.

Icardi has scored six goals and handed out two assists in all comps for Inter this season, being key to the team's seven-game winning streak.
